What I did not realize back then was how expensive that mistake was.

Projects dragged on longer than they should have. High value work kept getting pushed to later in the day when my energy was gone.

Good ideas stayed half finished. Weeks passed where I was busy every day, yet the business barely moved forward.

The worst part was watching others seem to progress faster with less visible effort.

Let me explain this in a way I wish someone had explained it to me YEARS AGO... Because this idea alone changed how I work… and how fast results started showing up.

Here’s the important part... Deep focus isn’t a personality trait. It’s a biological state. And when you’re in it, your brain literally works differently.

(Note: Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi spent decades studying what happens when people are fully absorbed in meaningful work. He called it the ‘flow state’.)
